INFORMATION
All-Wheel Drive. Twin-Turbocharged Flat-Six.
The 911 Turbo S is defined by its ability to deliver extreme performance without compromise. It is not designed to impress through excess, but through precision, consistency, and the quiet confidence of its engineering.
represents the most complete expression of the 911 platform, combining everyday usability with performance that approaches the limits of contemporary engineering. It remains one of the few cars capable of delivering both sustained refinement and near-hypercar acceleration within a single, cohesive package.
At its core is a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, mounted in the traditional rear position, producing in excess of 700 horsepower in its latest form. Paired with Porsche’s PDK dual-clutch transmission and an advanced all-wheel-drive system, the Turbo S delivers immediate response in all conditions. Acceleration from 0–62 mph is achieved in approximately 2.5 seconds, with a top speed in the region of 200 mph.
Despite these figures, the defining characteristic of the Turbo S is not outright speed, but its composure. Adaptive suspension systems, active aerodynamics, and rear-axle steering work in concert to provide stability and precision at both low and high speeds. The result is a car that remains accessible and predictable, even as performance increases.
Performance figures remain impressive even by modern standards:
