Hand-built in Crewe, the Bentayga Speed represents the most performance-focused expression of Bentley’s flagship SUV, continuing a lineage of Speed models that prioritise power without compromising refinement.

At its core sits the marque’s 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12, producing 626bhp and 664 lb ft of torque. Effortless in delivery, it enables a 0–62 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph, placing it among the most capable vehicles in its class. Despite this, the Bentayga Speed remains composed and measured, engineered to deliver performance with discretion rather than theatre.

The driving experience is governed through Bentley’s ‘Drive Dynamics’ system, offering Comfort, Bentley, Custom and a recalibrated Sport mode unique to the Speed. Here, throttle response, transmission behaviour, and chassis control are sharpened, supported by air suspension and Bentley Dynamic Ride, allowing the vehicle to adapt seamlessly between long-distance refinement and more focused driving.

Efficiency has not been overlooked. Under lighter loads, the W12 is capable of deactivating an entire bank of cylinders, while at cruising speeds the transmission can disengage to allow the vehicle to ‘sail’, reducing engine load without interrupting progress.

Externally, the Bentayga Speed is distinguished by subtle but deliberate enhancements. Dark-tinted headlights, body-coloured side skirts, unique front and rear bumpers, and an extended rear spoiler provide a more assertive presence. Darkened grille elements, 22-inch wheels, and discreet ‘Speed’ badging complete the exterior.

The interior continues Bentley’s established standard of craftsmanship. The Mulliner Driving Specification is fitted as standard, introducing diamond-quilted upholstery, contrast stitching, and refined detailing throughout. ‘Speed’ embroidery to the seats, metal badging to the fascia, and illuminated tread plates provide a quiet acknowledgement of the car’s positioning.
